Guru Purnima.

The position of guru is above God in our culture because he teachs us what is the role, function, importance of God in our life.

It is an auspicious occasion which honours Guru for providing knowledge tallent, skill, wisdom, to live our life by proper way. We remberbed our teacher and paid respect towards them. It is celebrated on the full moon day that is also known as purnima. It is celebrated in the Hindi month Ashadha.

This day is also celebrated many countries of the world. Like in Nepal .It is called teacher's day. It is celebrated by many religious people like Hindu's, Jain, Budhist etc. Who workship Lord Buddha it is belived that Lord Buddha gives his sermon on this day at sarnath.
